I'm a strong advocate for anyone that needs accommodations, and that includes ASL! I'm hard of hearing and wear two hearing aids. I graduated in MAy of 2020 from ASU with a Bachelor's in Speech & Hearing Science. I've completed 4 ASL classes as well as Deaf Culture and I'm planning on continuing my studies this semester by taking a Fingerspelling class. I've worked as an instructional assistant in a few mainstream schools with Deaf. hard of hearing students. I started my own ASL business this summer and have 10 clients that I see consistently.  I have also gotten the opportunity to teach ASL to homeschool classes this spring. I wanted to join this company so I can teach ASL to more kids and reach those that may rely on it more so than those who want to learn for fun.  I've also gained some experiences substituting for the Sequoia Deaf School this past Fall. In addition to my passion for ASL, I'm working on getting my hours to become a licensed Speech Language Pathology Assistant. I'm very passionate about helping kids grow and teaching ASL.  I look forward to working with you and your family.  

 

I live in Mesa and I'm willing to travel 25 miles from my home.  I'm willing to travel to Mesa and Gilbert. I'm always open to other locations but will need to talk more details to determine if it can work.  I can also Zoom or Facetime if needed.
